(Джемс Родерик O'Flanagan) — ирландский писатель; род. в 1814 г.; был адвокатом. Написал: "Impressions at home and abroad" (1837), "Historical and picturesque guide to the Blackwater in Munster" (1844), "The history of Dundalk" (1861), романы "Gentle blood" и "Bryan O'Ryan", "Bar life of O'Connel" (1866), "The lives of the lords chancelors of Ireland" (1870), "The Irish bar, anecdotes and mots of bench and bar" (1878), "T h e Munster circuit" (воспоминания о его адвокатской деятельности, 1879).
